The Right Stuff * For Your Electronics

I have three children who LOVE my gadgets. I have had 5 iphones. The first of the 4 iphone 3G was dropped it had a cracked screen. I had to get another 3G, well, because I love my iphone! that is why I HAD to get another one... duh! My second iphone 3G had water damage, also known as kid spitting into the speaker trying to use the application to "blow up" funny animal balloons. They, of course, wrapped their whole jaw around the speaker as any 2 year old would do and so water damage forced me to make the long walk to the genius bar. Yet it took no real genius to tell me that yes, my iphone was indeed toast. This is when I just had to put my foot down and ask these geniuses what I could possibly do to protect my iphone from crazy everyday mistakes that happened to me and my iphone. Well, the Master of all Geniuses said, "Get the Otterbox". The what-dah-what-what-a box? Oh yes, watch. This genius dropped her Otterbox incased iPhone onto the floor flat facing with the screen down. After the paramedics revived me. I asked her where for the love of mother's sanity could I get one. I purchased one that night!

The fourth time my iphone was dropped into a pedicure basin. It was incased in my hot pink Otterbox. The whole room froze and looked at me as I shook my head. Ha! I said.... It is in an Otterbox! Yes, I said it with much snobbery and a giggle. I wiped it with a lux towel they handed me and continued texting away.

I now own the 4G iPhone and cannot tell you enough how grand it feels in my hand and to have it as part of my life. I highly recommend it. As you might can tell from my personal experience. Nay sayers say, Oh, it's bulky. Or Oh don't your calls get dropped. No it is NOT bulky it is called safety and NO my calls are not dropped. My phone however, continues to be dropped and this my friend is what makes me feel free, free, free indeed!!

I'm not paid by Otterbox to say these things as any other product that I endorse on this blog. I have however, convinced many people to buy the Otterbox for their iphones and now ipad. It will give you a very safe feeling while handling your phone. If you are like me your iphone has your calendar, your pictures, your notes and great applications you don't want to loose when an accident could so quickly happen by a slip of your hand.

Chat with them on Twitter if you want. @Otterbox people are fast to answer questions and give excellent customer service.

The Right Stuff * For All Sorts of Emergencies

I am in love with this Mother-Daughter company.
These women have made my life easier with fewer panicked moments in times of emergencies.

Are you the kind of person that likes to have the band-aide, breath mint or finger nail file handy? I am. I love also sharing such items with people in need. That is why I am such a big fan of Ms&Mrs products. click here to visit their website I purchased my first mini emergency bag from a local store and have used the contents in moments that would have otherwise left me wishing I was better prepared. Instead, I have been able to pull out my mini-emergency kit with a "Tah-Dah" fanfare that anyone feels when they get to save the day.

Just this weekend I was able to offer a band-aide to someone who got hurt while lifting furniture into my new house, Tah-Dah, here you go sir!

I also had fresh onions topped on my salsa that needed taming shortly after lunch, Tah-Dah, fresh minty breath...bam!

I dropped my earring backing into the sand, Tah-Dah! I had an extra one in this great kit.

I'm telling you that they have thought of everything and every occasion. They have kits for the office from men and women, bride and grooms to be, mother-of-the-bride, college student's dorm room kits, labor and delivery kits, breast cancer awareness kits, mani-pedi kits, Do you get the picture? Well, if you love to have just what you need when you need it, then this is the company for you.

They also sell refills for these life savers! The only thing that is NOT included is the superhero cape to wear as you save the day!

The Right Stuff * For Your Kids Arm

These are the best bracelets on the market. I know your child has these or wants them. As a mom, I have seen and purchased many different shaped bracelets for my son, I can tell you from experience, that these are the most creative, strong and colorful bracelets you'll find. I like "Stretchy Shapes" brand because they are designed so you can actually see the shape without having to use your imagination to fill in the missing curves. This is important to your child and for any kid who wants to trade bands. It's nice to see the shapes when they are finally off your child's arm and are being displayed in their room.
This collector pack is for Halloween.

The Right Stuff * For Custom Art and Murals

This picture is mine! It was painted by the artist, Rorie Scroggins. She is amazing in her talents. Her work was chosen by The United Way for their fund-raising campaign a few years ago. Later her work was picked to be mass produced for the Time Warner owed company, Southern Living at Home. I got in touch with her and after a few questions she had in her mind an inspiration and for this painting.

If you are interested in viewing a few other pieces by Rorie Scroggins, please visit her website and make sure to turn up the volume on your computer. She has chosen a sweet song to go along with her online portfolio-slideshow.

The Right Stuff * To Stop Germs During Flu Season

Flu season is HERE! Yick! I cannot believe it myself.
It's time to make the appointments for the flu shot, if we remember.

I was thinking last year I had all of my bases covered for my family with the flu until my parents, husband, and two kids got the H1N1 or Swine Flu.

Last year at this time, l was in the hospital after having my baby. As much as I just adored my nurses, great medication and hospital meals, I indeed was ready and needed to bring myself and my new baby home. The doctors were not willing for us to take that risk and had me stay an extra day.

This year I am taking every precaution to keep the flu away from my home. We still have no idea who got the virus first or where they got it. The one place the doctors told us to be careful the most when taking our newborn out was at the grocery stores and mega stores. I assured them that I would keep germs at bay because I use hand-sanitizers. I have them in our car, purse and diaper bag, but also we take extra care to wipe down our carts at the grocery and mega stores.

I was feeling great about all of my safety nets until I saw this website and watched their video Now I want to buy these for every doctor's office, public school, mega store, grocery store, library, department store, state and county office, every bank and hair salon...are you getting my point? Watch it and please let me know who you will be buying one for. HA!

Oh, by the way, I don't get a dime for my ranting on and on about this product. I just want to spread the information not germs.
